    Biography of Rossano Brazzi

    Rossano Brazzi was an Italian actor born on September 18th, 1916 in Bologna, Italy. He studied at San Marco University in Florence, where he had been living since the age of four.

    Career

    Brazzi made his debut in the film industry in 1939 with an Italian production. He had an extensive filmography, mostly consisting of Italian and French projects, but also featured a few films that brought him international recognition. One of his notable works includes the Hollywood blockbuster "Three Coins in the Fountain" in 1954, where he portrayed the character Giorgio Bianchi. He also starred in the romantic drama "Summertime" in 1955, directed by David Lean, alongside Katharine Hepburn. Other well-known films featuring Brazzi include the Italian-American crime drama "The Barefoot Contessa"
