Filipino composer Arnel De Pano, father of Ben&Ben percussionist Andrew De Pano, has recovered from COVID-19.
Earlier this month, Arnel had his send-off from Marikina Valley Medical Center (MVMC), where health workers helped him in his battle against the novel coronavirus. The medical frontliners sang his iconic gospel song 'Lead Me Lord,' which was popularized by Basil Valdez and Gary Valenciano, when he was discharged last April 2 (Thursday).
Arnel's wife, Amy, shared the heartfelt moment on Facebook. She writes, "We are beyond grateful for all you frontliners do for us. The least we can do is pray for blessing upon blessing & God's mighty shield of protection upon you all! You are Godsend angels to us & we owe our lives to you. Kudos! Salut! Respect!!"
